We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Statkraft Markets team in India as a Senior Manager- Front Office. As a key player in our commercial strategy and growth initiatives, you will drive revenue growth, optimize assets, and develop business ideas that align with our company's value principles.

About Statkraft Markets

Our Indian subsidiary, Statkraft Markets Pvt. Ltd., has been operational since 2012 and holds a Category-1 inter-state trading license that enables us to trade unlimited volumes. Our team comprises specialists in Deal Origination, Portfolio Management, Market Analysis, Deal Operations, Risk Management, and Commercial Project Management, working together to achieve commercial excellence in the Indian power market.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior Manager- Front Office, you will:

  • Optimize assets revenues by identifying and executing profitable business ideas.
  • Grow, operate, and manage profitable portfolios of structured power transactions.
  • Develop business ideas that can be asset-backed or risk-capital-backed.
  • Work closely with local business verticals, including asset development, and other commercial teams in the global Statkraft organization.

We require candidates with:

  • 10-15 years of experience in a commercial role in the power sector, preferably in transaction closures in the B2B segment.
  • Demonstrated ability in ideation, deal-making, sales, business development, and people leadership.
  • Strong expertise and experience in power trading in the Indian market.
  • Excellent quantitative/analytical skills to identify market trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities arising from market design or regulatory changes.
