Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist to join our team at TN Norway.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical process safety, with experience in conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing safety procedures, and collaborating with operations teams to identify and resolve process safety issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process safety risk assessments, including HAZOP, LOPA, and other safety studies.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures, protocols, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant EU regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead and/or participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with local operations and safety teams to identify and resolve process safety issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Safety Management, or a related technical field.
  • Operational experience from the chemical or process industry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety compliance.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
