Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our industrialization team, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized for high-volume production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, manufacturing/quality engineering, or a related field. They will also have experience with key production processes such as injection molding, extrusion, die casting, sheet metal enclosures, SMT, and DfX & Industrialization of mass manufacturing products.

You will work closely with our design/engineering/testing teams to contribute to DfX reviews and working groups, and drive problem-solving activities and root cause analysis. You will also own and drive risk/failure assessments of process/production across the tiers of the supply chain.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized for high-volume production
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Driving problem-solving activities and root cause analysis

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing/Quality Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with key production processes such as injection molding, extrusion, die casting, sheet metal enclosures, SMT, and DfX & Industrialization of mass manufacturing products
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
