Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Solutions Engineer (Manufacturing Process Engineer) to join our internal Production Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maturing the assembly process for our next-generation bipedal humanoid robot, NEO.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in scaling production from the low volume prototype stage to serial manufacturing. You will get the chance to own, develop, launch and optimize your own assembly cell and see how it evolves from a low-throughput manual cell to a higher-throughput solution.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or higher education.
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing process engineering and lean methodologies.
  • Experience developing assembly processes for medium- to high-complexity electronics products from blank sheet of paper including specifying equipment list, designing cell layouts, developing assembly instructions etc.
  • Experience in working with Solidworks CAD and Altium.
  • Working experience with electronics test equipment and workshop tools.
