Job Description

We're seeking a Design Engineer to strengthen our Design & Construction team. As a Design Engineer, you'll be a key participant in the development of Carbon Capture and Storage Solutions. Your work will focus on:

  • Modeling and creating technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Supporting the design, technical specification, and configuration for externally manufactured exhaust gas cleaning products and systems.
  • Producing and checking documentation (Bill of Materials, Standardizations, GA, etc.).
  • Participating in the complete documentation workflow.
  • Understanding and complying with design guidelines, internal and international standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Cooperating with project management and other disciplines (Mechanical, Automation, Process, R&D, etc.).
  • Participating in the development of more efficient engineering processes.
  • Contributing to efficient project execution ensuring right quality, cost, and time.
  • Developing your knowledge base of product specification, integration, and support.
  • Being open to new challenges, especially related to decarbonization of the marine industry.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering. Recent graduates will also be considered.
  • Strong passion for marine technology and a desire to make a significant impact in the marine industry.
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude toward professional development.
  • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, work independently, and collaborate with a multi-discipline and international team.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (Inventor).
