Key Responsibilities
  • Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of our robots, identifying and debugging deviations in software and hardware.
  • Defect Tracking: Report and track defects found during testing, maintaining accurate documentation of test data, results, and technical information.
  • Test Planning: Create test plans for upcoming software releases, utilizing agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Test Case Development: Review functional requirements and create test cases to ensure product quality is maintained.
  • Test Execution: Execute test plans across multiple stacks, employing various testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, white-box, black-box, and smoke testing).
  • Troubleshooting: Support our deployment team by troubleshooting and debugging real-world issues experienced at customer sites, ensuring all functional requirements are met and identifying gaps in existing functional requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in implementing new technologies and processes, increasing the quality and efficiency of testing.
Requirements
  • Education: B.Eng., M.Eng., or M.Sc. degree in QA, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years proven experience with testing and basic testing methodologies.
  • Certifications: Certified in ISTQB tester foundation level or similar.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with testing dynamic IoT products and mechatronic systems, with a preference for robotics. Basic knowledge in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python. Scripting (bash, python) and CLI experience. Basic knowledge in agile methodologies. Experience with manual testing frameworks such as MS Azure DevOps. Experience with Git or similar source control frameworks.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with Docker, Linux, and Robotic Operating System (ROS).
  • Knowledge in quality assurance and ISO 9001.
