Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Engineer to join our team in Norway. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing marine and land cable installation projects, working closely with project subcontractors, and providing survey input to procedures, plans, analyses, calculations, and other documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement survey strategies for marine and land cable installation projects
  • Collaborate with project subcontractors to evaluate survey proposals and specify survey equipment/personnel needed
  • Provide survey input to procedures, plans, analyses, calculations, and other documentation
  • Participate in QA and HSE activities internally in the department and in projects
  • Develop technical solutions related to the survey aspect of marine cable laying and marine subsea protection

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Land & Hydrographic surveying, Geophysics, Geology, Geomatics, or similar
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience from offshore or subsea operations related to geophysical & geotechnical survey or positioning
  • Relevant background could be online surveyor, survey data processing, project surveyor
  • Knowledge about ESRI ArcGIS and Eiva Navimodel is an advantage
  • Fluent in English – oral and written. Norwegian is a plus
