Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Safety Architect to join our global functional safety team. As a key member of this team, you will drive the technical implementation of safety concepts in safety-critical semiconductor components used in autonomous/ADAS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Specify functional safety requirements and perform thorough analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  2. Develop and implement safety mechanisms into our products, including PMIC, CIS, and MCU, to ensure the highest level of safety.
  3. Utilize advanced tools for fault injection and safety analysis to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  4. Create and maintain automated safety verification flows to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  5. Work closely with engineering teams globally to drive technical specification and close functional safety requirements.
  6. PARTicipate in internal and external assessments and audits to determine product compliance with ISO26262 metrics and processes.
  7. Complete functional safety tasks, analysis, and formal reviews as defined by the safety plan.
  8. Collaborate with design teams to generate documentation of results and drive continuous improvements within your area of responsibility.
  9. Provide training to global teams on safety processes.
Requirements
  1. You must have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 4 years of experience in functional safety in the semiconductor industry is required.
  3. Familiarity with ISO 26262, functional safety analysis, and safety analysis tools (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA) is essential.
  4. Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills are necessary for success in this role.
  5. A strong team player with excellent self-driven qualities, attention to detail, and quality-minded approach is required.
  6. An excellent command of English as a working language is essential.
  7. You MUST provide a cover letter outlining your desire to move to, live, and work in Oslo, Norway.
