Job Description

Job Summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled NOC Operator to join our team. As a NOC Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network transmission, base station, control room, and core network elements using developed tools.
  • Identify and interpret alarms, and comprehend the impact of alarms on the network.
  • Prioritize alarms and incidents, and take appropriate action.
  • Provide first-line investigation support for customer faults.
  • Operate within a structured ITIL framework.
  • Understand and operate within clearly defined SLA agreements.
  • Escalate faults to second-line support, providing necessary detail.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers, demonstrating knowledge and competence.
  • Provide support to field technicians.
  • Understand escalation and emergency procedures, and know when to invoke them.
  • Log ticket information clearly and update regularly.
Requirements
  • Norwegian citizenship or at least 10 years of residence in Norway.
  • No restrictions on security clearance to Confidential.
  • Ability to speak, write, and communicate clearly in English and Norwegian.
  • NOC or support/help desk experience.
  • Desirable: some level of core and/or transmission network knowledge.
  • Technically skilled and/or interested, preferably with an IT/Telecommunication background and/or education.
  • Ability to operate according to service level agreements.
