About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to bring your domain expertise to 3Degrees, a leading provider of climate and renewable energy solutions. As a Senior Account Executive, Global Business Solutions, Europe, you will be responsible for establishing new senior-level relationships across the region and developing a comprehensive understanding of client sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategy and accounts across Europe within target industry verticals.
- Create and manage business relationships with key accounts and ensure loyalty through excellent customer service, timely communication, and follow-up.
- Prepare a monthly analysis on all substantial opportunities in new products or territories, and/or problems and report on performance to forecast objectives.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities using your network, research, and other sources.
- Generate leads through direct prospecting and business development efforts, including attending regional or national conferences.
- Actively listen to and engage prospects, identifying needs, providing sustainability and renewable energy education and guide to a solution that best meets the needs communicated.
- Manage a complex sales cycle from prospect identification through contract completion, ensuring accuracy in communication and documentation throughout the process.
- Work cross-functionally, collaborating with various internal partners to ensure best-fit solutions and service excellence.
- Deliver accurate, up-to-date sales forecasts and activity tracking in Salesforce.
- Proactively contribute to continuous improvement, providing input on 3Degrees products, marketing strategies, sales improvements, and team collaboration.
- Stay abreast of the renewable energy industry, 3Degrees' competitors, new product offerings, and pricing through 3Degrees staff, industry publications, webinars, etc.
About You
You are a seasoned sales professional with a demonstrated track record of sales or business development success with large global and European regional commercial customers. You possess a deep understanding of the renewable energy and sustainability landscape, coupled with a passion for driving climate action. You are a proactive individual with a strong desire to assist clients with carbon reduction and/or renewable energy goals.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience selling environmental commodities, carbon offsets, and removals.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales plans for target industry verticals.
- Experience with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (VPPAs) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English, with additional European languages being an advantage.
