About The Role

We are hiring a Finance Manager who will take full responsibility for the financial rig at Six Robotics. You will run the day-to-day finance operations, ensure that our numbers are accurate, and provide the insight and structure that allow the CFO to focus on strategy, investors, and long-term planning.

You will manage our monthly and yearly closings, lead budgeting and forecasting, maintain compliance, and build reliable processes that scale with the company. As we grow, you will improve and strengthen the systems, routines, and controls that keep our financial operations predictable and efficient.

This is a high-ownership role where you ensure the financial engine runs smoothly and leadership has the clarity needed to make fast, informed decisions.

What You Will Do

• Lead daily finance operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and cash flow oversight.
• Own monthly and yearly closing, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling in collaboration with teams across the company.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, tax regulations, and audit requirements
• Improve and automate financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Provide clear, data-driven financial insight to the CFO, leadership, and board.

You understand both operational details and the strategic bigger picture, and you take pride in financial processes that run reliably and predictably.

You bring experience with:

• Operational finance, accounting, and reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and modelling
• Accounting principles and local compliance
• Improving systems, workflows, and internal controls
• Working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Bonus if you bring:

• Experience in building the finance rig in a start/scaleup
• Experience with investor processes or fundraising rounds

Our Recruitment Process

1. Screening interview with one of our recruiters to get to know you better (30 min).
2. Meet & Greet with someone from the team to learn more about us (60 min).
3. Structured case interview to get to know you even better (90 min).
4. Final interview and a chance to meet with the management team (45 min).
5. Reference check followed by an offer if everything goes well.

Security Clearance Requirement

All employees at Six Robotics are required to undergo a security clearance due to our close collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces. While prior clearance is not necessary, the clearance process will be initiated as part of onboarding.
