About the role
As Account Manager, we are looking for a salesperson who is hungry for results andlove interacting with people, and also have strong administrative and technicalskills. Primary objective of position:
The role strategically drives total profitable revenue andmarket share growth, from the crew and leisure segments for hotels both domestically in the area and outbound. As a part of this, handle the interaction and negotiation for selected airline business for area hotels, related to Crew, and irregular business, to secure optimalagreements in line with area and hotel commercial strategies. Also to negotiate leisure group business agreements with domestic and inbound/outbound operators for the hotels, and in accordance with thehotel’s commercial plan and budget.

Role & Key Responsibilities

Maximize revenue Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within the crew and leisure market segments. Assists in the development of annual sales targets within these market segments. Map out the business opportunities for the area and update, at all times. Prepares proposals to maximize profit. Use sales calls to solicit existing and new clients. Work with and respond to RFP’s in all relevant technical systems. Uses SAP Sales Cloud to log client appointments, leads and converted business. Maintains effective correspondence between clients, hotels, and all stakeholders. Meets budgeted sales and profit margins for group business by soliciting, selling and confirming business as required. Ensures own function operates within cost parameters. Implements strategies to facilitate market penetration for national and international production, to meet increasing demands reflecting in the change and growth of the Company. Increases sales volumes and profitability by assisting in developing and executing projects for assigned market segments Drive all revenue and market share growth for the area (from airline crew, IRR, leisure groups and leisure intermediates). Develop knowledge of each account, its pipeline, supplier management and strategic focus. Create and use consultative selling approach to maximize commercial opportunity. Stay on top of industry trends, news and competitor activities. Attends Radisson Sales Blitz’s and/or trade shows in key market cities to develop new business and to contact established clients in these cities.

Skills & Qualifications

Desirable University qualification. Min 3 Years’ experience as a Sales Manager/AccountManager. Min 3 Years’ experience in the Hotel, Travel or AirlineIndustry. Sales experience within airline crew and leisure clients negotiations, desirable. Fluent in English is necessary and other languages( Scandinavian, French or Spanish) is a plus.  You are proactive, analytical, and results driven
