Doctors Without Borders (MSF) saves lives where the needs are greatest. In over 70 countries we provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. Since we do not seek government funding, financial support from private individuals is crucial. That is why we need dedicated fundraisers to recruit regular donors through going door-to-door and working on stands on our unique travel team.

On the travel team, you'll encounter a one-of-a-kind experience of Norway and the chance to explore places you wouldn't typically visit. The sense of unity within the team is strong, as you'll form close bonds through social activities and good relationships. The workload will be similar to a 40% position, with travel every other week from Monday to Friday. You'll receive thorough support from your leader through monthly team meetings, individual conversations, and check-ins with the team before each shift. Travel time from the agreed meeting point will be compensated, in addition to compensation for food on travel.

You must:

  • Be engaged and motivated to save lives
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be result-oriented, solution-oriented and willing to learn
  • Enjoy collaborating and sharing experiences with others
  • Like to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
  • Speak English or Norwegian fluently (level B2)
  • Be able to travel Monday to Friday at least every other week, desirably more if needed
  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have class B driver's license
  • Able to travel from Oslo and the area around Oslo
