The Role

As the Customer Experience and Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in the Commercial team and aid us in driving various tactical and strategic business development initiatives through to completion. By leveraging your analytical and presentation skills, and your attention to detail, you will help us make fact-based decisions so we can continue to deliver even more exceptional experiences to our customers.

The role is part of the Commercial team in Norway and based in Oslo.

Key areas of responsibility:
  • Acts as project lead for various business development case exercises. Hereunder coordinates workstreams and drives various projects forward, ensures correct data/insights input, responsible for numerical analyses and modelling, involves senior stakeholders to ensure alignment across countries, etc.
  • Part-takes in decision making regarding new business development and innovation initiatives, as well as packaging and pricing, together with senior management.
  • Tracks and scrutinizes relevant NPS, customer lifetime and churn metrics, and proactively shares relevant insights and recommended actions to facilitate fact-based discussions and decision making (with support from central CX).
  • Responsible for various customer experience-related initiatives and follow-up (including loyalty initiatives & NPS-related initiatives).
  • Responsible for producing and maintaining Viaplay Norway's input to various Group meetings together with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on all relevant Viaplay Group insights and analyses, and commission local research studies as needed and agreed.
  • Other tasks.
Background and qualifications:
  • Minimum BSc with excellent grades in business administration, economics, mathematics or related field required.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a business analyst, in business development, management consulting, customer experience, or a similar quant role.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, Excel and modelling skills is a prerequisite.
  • Proficiency in customer journey mapping, customer insights and data analyses.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and customer feedback tools.
  • Background from consumer-oriented and subscription-based businesses is an advantage.
  • Understanding the SVOD market, including trends, customer behavior and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Norwegian and English is needed.
