Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Senior Engineer to lead our team in delivering telecom solutions for oil and gas projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing telecom systems for greenfield projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Telecom Lead: Oversee the development of telecom deliverables in study phases, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  2. Design and Implementation: Participate in the development of telecom design solutions for telecom sub-systems, remote operations, maintenance, monitoring, and new technologies.
  3. Vendor Management: Follow up with telecom vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  4. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Interface with other disciplines, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  5. Meetings and Reviews: Participate in and arrange meetings, workshops, and reviews for the Telecom discipline.
  6. Engineering Documents: Define and develop engineering documents for telecom systems.
Requirements
  1. Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree or relevant technical education.
  2. Ex Course: Completion of an ex course within the last 5 years.
  3. FSE Course: Completion of a FSE course.
  4. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Telecom engineering and telecom system design activities within greenfield oil and gas projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
  5. Telecom Design Experience: Experience from telecom system design in Study phases or FEED or other relevant experience.
  6. Standards Knowledge: Deep knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNVGL, and IEC.
