Job Description

Wolt Norway is embarking on an exciting new chapter of growth and development, and we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Lead team, you will be responsible for driving commercial and expansion strategies, growing and developing our venue and corporate partnership portfolio, and managing all sales activities in the market.

Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead a team of senior sales managers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and expansion in specific markets and projects.
  • Recruit, develop, and coach sales team members to achieve 'best in the world' performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to contribute to overall business strategies and team well-being.
Market Expansion & Strategy
  • Create and implement sales strategies to develop the portfolio and grow Wolt's business in the market.
  • Develop and maintain a venue portfolio development strategy, evaluating market potential and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Build and track key metrics, processes, and tools to ensure high performance and priority alignment.
  • Travel to key markets (approx. 10-20% of the time) to support sales and build relationships with partners.
Field Operations & Partnership Development
  • Support the sales team in building relationships with key partners and negotiating agreements.
  • Conduct negotiations with regional or larger restaurant or retail partners to drive growth and expansion.
Qualifications
  • Proven sales success with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Leadership experience, including managing and leading a sales team effectively.
  • Team development skills, including coaching, motivating, recruiting, onboarding, and developing senior sales professionals.
  • Strong team collaboration and project management skills, with experience in managing complex projects and analyzing sales metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Norwegian.
  • Structured and detail-focused, with experience in documenting work, tracking team performance, and following up in a structured way.
  • Industry knowledge in FMCG or HORECA is advantageous, with a deep understanding of the food delivery tech market and competitive landscape a plus.
