About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our Norwegian office, focusing on expanding our presence in the defence, government, and enterprise markets.

This role is crucial in developing relationships with Norwegian customers and identifying new opportunities in satellite communications and information services. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our company's growth by leveraging your sales expertise and market knowledge to drive business development and secure new contracts.

Our client provides satellite and radio communication services, offering secure and high-quality voice and data services worldwide, regardless of location or time. They also deliver customized system solutions tailored to specific customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Understanding and Development: Gain a deep understanding of the Norwegian market, prioritize and approach potential new customers, and explore avenues to secure their business while maximizing growth opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Ensure potential customers are thoroughly briefed on the full range of products and services, including hardware, solutions, airtime, projects, parts, and services.
  • Sales Support: Provide dedicated sales support to specific customers, ensuring their requests are handled professionally, efficiently, and in line with their expectations.
  • Relationship Building: Strengthen existing relationships with partners and suppliers to develop solutions that address customer needs and bring mutual benefits.
  • Order and Service Management: Ensure smooth handling of sales orders and service issues, keeping customers informed at all times about the status and resolution of any delivery or service concerns.
Requirements
  • Defence/Government Experience: Experience in defence or government sectors is essential, ideally with a background in the Forces or experience in selling to these key customers.
  • Sales Expertise: A strong track record in sales, particularly within the satellite communications or information services sectors, is highly desirable.
  • Market Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Norwegian market and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new industry developments.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer relationship skills, with the ability to engage effectively via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Independence and Teamwork: Ability to operate independently while also being a collaborative team player within the Norwegian office and across the wider Defence & Government team.
