Job Description
A successful Account Executive at SAP creates strategic relationships with customers and drives revenue growth by delivering meaningful business value. This role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, sales acumen, and the ability to identify and create opportunity strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Leadership - Develop and manage designated territories, including account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles.
- Demand Generation - Drive new pipeline through proficient demand generation and prospecting into non-SAP organizations.
- Customer Acumen - Understand each customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, and competitive landscape to deliver targeted solutions.
- Account Planning - Collaborate with Industry AEs and solutions consultants to create robust account and opportunity plans.
- Executive Relationship Building - Develop and nurture executive relationships with prospects and customers to deliver value and establish SAP as a trusted partner.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software applications sales experience.
- Demonstrated track record of success and quota achievement.
- Management of large, complex sales cycles.
- Experience in hunting for new business and managing existing accounts.
- PREFERRED: Experience selling to CHROs, HR Directors, and CFOs.
