Role Summary:
The HR Consultant will develop the HR function in Norway, working closely with the company to create a good framework for all employee activities, including HR strategy, recruitment, development, competence, and employee attraction and retention.
The role will support day-to-day tasks in operations, administration, and strategy on a company level, and will be part of the executive team, reporting to the HR Director in Sweden.
Responsibilities:
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Update and create HR frameworks and templates, HR policies, and strategies.
- Ensure the proper and efficient functioning of HR business processes.
- Support line managers in HR matters.
- Support line managers in development, termination, rehabilitation, etc. of employees.
- Drive talent management processes to attract, develop, and retain the right talent.
- Coordinate payroll and pension administration.
- Branding and recruitment activities.
- Onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Contact person for union work, recruiters, payroll, and candidates.
- Training plan administration and coordination.
- Salary review.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Contribute to planning company events.
- Report HR-related matters to government, unions, etc.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Employee satisfaction.
- HR support with signing new customer HR service contracts and bringing new customers to the company.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- University degree, Master or Bachelor's degree or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a generalist role.
- Knowledge in union work, collective agreements, and labor law.
- Experience in recruitment.
- Fluent in written and oral English and Norwegian.
Skills:
- Proactive, good communication, and cooperation skills.
- A "people person" with the ability to create good relations internally and externally.
