Job Summary:
This role involves developing the HR function in Norway, working closely with the company to establish a strong framework for employee activities, such as HR Strategy, recruitment, development, competence, and employee retention.
As an HR Consultant, you will provide day-to-day support in operations, administration, and strategic decision-making on a company level.
You will be part of the executive team and report directly to the HR Director in Sweden.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and update HR frameworks, templates, policies, and strategies.
- Ensure the efficient functioning of HR business processes.
- Support line managers in HR-related matters.
- Assist in employee development, termination, rehabilitation, and other HR-related tasks.
- Develop and implement talent management processes to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Coordinate payroll and pension administration.
- Manage branding and recruitment activities.
- Orient new employees and handle offboarding procedures.
- Act as the primary contact person for union work, recruiters, payroll, and candidates.
- Develop training plans, administer training, and coordinate logistics.
- Conduct salary reviews and exit interviews.
- Participate in planning company events.
- Report HR-related matters to relevant government entities, unions, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a safe and healthy work environment.
- Promote customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
- Provide HR support for signing new customer contracts and bringing new clients to the company.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Knowledge of union work, collective agreements, and labor laws.
- Proven experience in recruitment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Norwegian.
