We are seeking a new Regional Manager East for IcopalTak. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative and clear leader with strong sales skills. Tight protection of all building values, and IcopalTak AS is with 4 departments and approximately 130 employees one of the largest and most important suppliers of roofing materials in the country. Icopal has a history in Norway over 120 years and we manage our traditions through good employee relationships. IcopalTak is part of BMI Group, which is one of the world's largest and Norway's most competent suppliers of systems and solutions for flat and pitched roofs, and for tight buildings.

The East Region consists of two office locations (Oslo and Skien), with a total of approximately 65 employees. The region is expected to turnover around 130 MNOK with significant potential for growth.

The Regional Manager East is part of the management group in IcopalTak AS and will be a key person in both the East Region and IcopalTak as a company. The Regional Manager East is responsible for the region's sales, results, costs, and profitability. This will be achieved through the development of good customer relationships, good project execution, and setting a clear direction for and supporting your employees in daily challenges. IcopalTak regularly draws on a number of central support functions in BMI Norway.

The position reports to the Managing Director of IcopalTak AS.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  1. Overall responsibility for the region's sales and development to ensure the region's daily operation.
  2. Responsibility for quality and economy in all aspects - from tender to delivery of service.
  3. Lead, build up, and develop the region towards a proud future-oriented culture where safety, quality, and competence are essential elements.
  4. Lead, follow up, and develop the region's department managers, project managers, service managers, and roofers.
  5. Ensure good project execution through clear project ownership.
  6. Ensure that routines for quality assurance and HMS are followed.
  7. Support your employees and in daily challenges, including projects, contracts, customers, and personnel matters.
  8. Focus on good and long-term customer and supplier relationships, build and use networks, and be proactive towards both existing and new customers/suppliers.

We believe you have the following background:

  1. Sales and leadership experience from the building and/or construction industry.
  2. Good experience in leading and motivating employees/teams to perform beyond set goals.
  3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
  4. Experience with operational coordination and collaboration across organizational units.
  5. Higher education in economics and management, as well as an already well-developed network is desirable.
  6. Comfortable with digital solutions.
  7. Comfortable working with change management and in an international/nordic environment.
  8. Fluent in Norwegian, and comfortable in both spoken and written English.
