We are looking for a skilled researcher to join our team as a PhD Research Fellow in the ERC research project UNRULY. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human geography and a keen interest in exploring uncertainty related to hydropower projects in the face of climate change.

About the Position

This PhD Research Fellow position is offered within the Department of Sociology and Human Geography at the University of Oslo. The successful candidate will contribute to the UNRULY project, which aims to understand uncertainty related to hydropower projects in the face of climate change.

You will work closely with the project lead and other team members to develop and implement methodological approaches that take conceptual insights seriously. This includes experimenting with acoustic methods, embodied methods, story-telling, and stochastic mathematics to think through how uncertainty shapes energy justice concerns and outcomes of renewable energy projects.
