About the Role

At reMarkable, we are dedicated to developing high-quality consumer electronics that redefine the market. Our Electronics Engineering team is responsible for the development and testing of all electronics that are part of our products.

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Test Engineer to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a key member of our Electronics Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in testing, validation, and quality checking of electronic designs in reMarkable products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Test and verify new electronic designs and prototypes to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Develop and implement EE tests and test plans for both new and existing products.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test systems for electronic components.
  • Work closely with the software test team and the manufacturing test team to ensure seamless integration and quality assurance.
  • Provide solutions and suggestions based on testing results to support the EE design team.
Requirements
  • Experience in hardware product development and/or testing.
  • Proficiency in using Linux and Python for scripting tasks.
  • Experience with electronics and schematic design and PCB layout.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Cadence OrCAD.
  • Experience with embedded software.
  • Experience with spectrum analyzers/oscilloscopes/logic analyzers.
