Job Description

The Storebrand Group is seeking a highly skilled ESG Data Analyst to join our Sustainability Team. This role will be instrumental in managing and analyzing ESG data from various external providers and internal sources.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing and analyzing ESG data from external providers and internal sources
  • Collaborating with investment operations departments and portfolio managers to integrate ESG data into investment decision-making
  • Conducting analytics to support portfolio risk assessments on topics such as climate, nature, and human rights
  • Evaluating methodologies and assessing deliveries from external ESG data providers
  • Screening and quality assurance of companies for exclusion and supporting engagement with companies on sustainability issues

Requirements:

  • Robust experience working with SQL and preferably experience with Snowflake
  • Solid understanding of the ESG data landscape and different providers
  • Comfortable programming in Python and experience managing and analyzing large datasets and databases
  • Experience working with DBT, Simcorp Dimension, and/or Bloomberg is highly beneficial
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience working in ESG data management, preferably with ESG data in the financial sector
  • Relevant academic background, preferably higher education within data science, finance, economics, sustainability, or relevant comparable experience
