Wolt is a Finnish technology company that has grown significantly in the last three years, expanding its operations from four countries across the Nordics to 25 countries across Europe and Asia today.
Our Finance team has played a key role in this journey, supporting our global operations from their central Helsinki hub. We are now looking for an experienced Regional Accounting Lead to help us focus on our local accounting efforts in Norway & Sweden.
- You will sit with the local country team in Oslo but report to the Global Accounting Lead in Helsinki and work directly with the centralized Finance team.
- As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening key internal and external relationships, including local auditors, authorities, and senior management both locally and internationally.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing accounting teams and a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial results. You will be responsible for creating a fully reconciled financial position in Norway & Sweden and ensuring accurate and timely monthly reporting, annual financial statements, and other statutory reporting required in these countries.
You will also be responsible for setting up scalable accounting processes, leading the delivery of local and global finance initiatives, and ensuring compliance with global policies.
