Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team at Elvis Eckardt Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the logistics and supply chain process to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain and manage inventory, ensuring stock records are accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with vendors and shipping companies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Handle shipment preparation, including packing and the completion of shipping documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary logistics documentation, including customs and shipping forms.
  • Manage purchase orders and invoicing processes in coordination with warehouse operations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Norwegian.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement solutions to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of logistics and transportation regulations, including import/export requirements and customs documentation.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.
