Our culinary team is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences, and we are seeking a seasoned Sous Chef to lead our kitchen operations and contribute to the development of our menus.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and creative team as an Executive Culinary Team Lead at THE THIEF in Oslo. As a seasoned Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff, developing menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team and oversee daily operations
- Develop and implement new menu concepts and ideas
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Train and develop junior staff members
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant
- A passion for food and cooking, with a focus on international cuisine and seasonal ingredients
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of food preparation and presentation
- A degree in Hospitality or a related field (desired)
