About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Development Manager to join our team at Wolt, a fast-growing tech company that is revolutionizing the way people shop and live. As a key member of our retail business development team, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with our largest retail and grocery partners in Norway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders at our retail and grocery partners
  • Determine the needs and wants of our partners, prioritize them internally, and work to co-create solutions with internal and external teams
  • Engage partners in growth strategy conversations, including adding more stores to Wolt, increasing same-store sales, and expanding with new brands
  • Strategically introduce and execute on new product and service opportunities to broaden partnership depth and increase partner revenue streams
  • Develop and execute co-marketing campaigns with partners to promote the partnership, drive sales, and increase customer awareness across multiple channels
  • Drive forward operational improvement with partners to ensure a seamless experience for Wolt's end customers
Requirements
  • Business proficiency in English
  • Proven success record in business development and/or account management, including driving engagements and negotiations with stakeholders at C-Level
  • Passion for using analytics to build insights around problems and opportunities, with experience working with advanced Excel and other analytical tools
  • Ability to take broad challenges or opportunities and turn them into relevant projects with clear milestones and goals, working with international and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a bias for action and a self-starter mentality
