About the Role

As a Senior/Strategic HR Business Partner, you will lead by our Chief HR Officer, our team roles are a mix of subject matter experts (SMEs), partnering and operations roles. Our vision for the future is to have a strong focus on employee experience and operational excellence.

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a senior partner to the leadership team (ELT) and their functions, understanding business challenges and opportunities and aligning HR strategies to drive business outcomes.
  • Leading change initiatives within the organization, providing guidance on organizational transitions and supporting leaders through change ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining employee engagement.
  • Overseeing the talent management processes including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management to ensure a pipeline of capable leaders and employees.
  • Being a trusted advisor for employee relations issues, providing coaching to managers and employees, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently and in compliance with the company policies and legislation.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to leaders and managers enhancing their capabilities to lead teams and drive business success.
  • Building strong partnerships across the globe and locally to support the delivery of People programs and annual People related cycles e.g. pay review processes, performance review cycles, etc.
  • Actively identifying local compliance gaps, proposing and implementing changes as necessary to cover and minimize risk.
  • Monitoring changes to local employment legislation and making policy and compliance updates as they apply to the business.
  • Participating and supporting in employee engagement activities.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • BSc in HR or related field or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Proven track record and experience working across Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden and up to speed with relevant legislation and practice.
  • Experience overseeing and successful execution of payroll.
  • Experience of partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive resolutions.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to minimize risks.
