About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Director to lead our IT department and drive strategic initiatives that support our business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our IT strategy, ensuring seamless operations, and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement our IT strategy, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT services meet business needs.
  3. Manage IT budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  4. Oversee and manage our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications.
  5. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of our IT systems.
  6. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  7. Identify and implement improvements in IT operations, driving efficiency and innovation.
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned IT professional with a strong track record of leadership and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will have:

Approximately 7-10 years of technology management experience, ideally including consulting experience.Proven leadership skills in IT Operations, with the ability to set goals, anticipate trends, and execute strategic priorities.Strong ability to manage business pressures and complex stakeholder relationships.Experience in planning and managing investment and cost budgets.Excellent understanding of the IT Service Provider and vendor market.Experience managing third-party vendor relationships and ensuring successful deliveries.University degree in the field of science, technology, engineering, or math.Fluent speaker and writer of both Norwegian and English.What We Offer
