The Client:

JBAndrews is working with a global Supply Chain Solutions provider operating globally across industries, with a focus on Retail, Fashion, FMCG, Technology, and Automotive customers in the main.

They are looking to continue the growth of their Contract Logistics/Warehousing & Distribution products in Europe, mainly where the product today is immature.

The Role:

Due to recent customer acquisition and the intention to grow, the business requires an experienced Contract Logistics / Warehousing Development Manager/Director level individual to help drive customer excellence and growth in the region, in order to maximise efficiency and minimise costs to the network, with a particular focus on the logistics operations.

This position has a strong commercial focus and will involve fostering new relationships, making final decisions on which to keep and which to cut, and helping to generate new business for the long-term as the product grows from an almost entirely greenfield current setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Design and Cost Calculations
  • Budgeting and Financial Management
  • Assisting with Tender processes
  • Building and upgrading the logistics teams in place

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Logistics related field preferred
  • At least 7 years' experience in Contract Logistics leadership, consistently performing to ensure targets are hit and the logistical aspects are satisfied on a day-to-day and strategic level, with blue-chip organisations
  • Experience in Contract Logistics (Warehousing & Distribution) is essential, ideally with a consultative style approach with both multi-user and dedicated site experience
  • Strong leadership skills through prior experience at a Regional level
