The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is seeking a highly qualified researcher to join our team in the Department of Psychology. The successful candidate will be part of an exciting inter-disciplinary Horizon Europe project, focusing on socio-economic policies and paradigms that could complement or present alternatives to the current policy landscape and economic paradigm in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement studies to investigate the impact of policy changes on the economy, social and environmental sustainability, and public acceptance.
  • Analyze and interpret data from experiments and online surveys, with a plan to collect data from 10,000+ participants.
  • Contribute to the writing of academic papers and other research outputs, such as technical reports.
  • Present research findings at conferences and workshops.
  • Support the organization of workshops and contribute to further funding acquisition.
Requirements
  • PhD in social psychology, environmental psychology, behavioral economics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Documented expertise in environmental psychology, social psychology, behavioral economics, or a closely related social science.
  • Strong background in quantitative statistical methods.
  • Good publication record.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with concepts and methods used in environmental psychology.
  • Familiarity with concepts and methods used in social psychology or behavioral economics.
  • Expertise in discrete choice modeling and the design of discrete choice experiments.
  • Experience with analysis of large cross-national datasets.
