About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives, business development executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses.

Your primary objective will be to establish Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the strategic accounts you manage, promoting the entire AWS products and services portfolio to the Fortune 1000 market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Account/Territory Plan

Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Create Compelling Value Propositions

Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services to customers and stakeholders.

Manage Opportunity Pipeline

Create and maintain an opportunity pipeline and drive consistent account-specific activities to close deals.

Work with Partners

Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption of AWS services.

Manage Complex Customer Interactions

Manage complex customer interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Develop Long-Term Strategic Relationships

Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Ensure Customer Satisfaction

Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.

Travel

Expect moderate travel to meet with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements
  1. Experience in Technology Field Sales or Business Development

Experience as a quota-carrying technology field sales or business development professional.

Driving Technology Adoption

Experience driving technology adoption and creating long-term transformational account strategies.

Presenting to C-Level Executives

Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses.

Closing Large-Scale Technology Projects

Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to Fortune 1000 customers.

Education

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. 10 Years of Technology Field Sales or Business Development Experience

10 years of technology field sales or business development experience.

Technical Background

A technical or educational background in engineering, computer science, or MIS.

Cross-Functional Selling Experience

Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company and cross-functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISV).
