About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Architect to join our engagement with a Norwegian cruise line operator. The customer is in the assessment phase of a Digital Transformation initiative, focusing on leveraging Enterprise Architecture (EA) practices to enable the execution of eight digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revisit and refine the business motivation to strategy framework if necessary.
  • Develop AS-IS business architecture including:
    • Customer journey mapping
    • Value streams
    • Business capabilities
  • Potentially assess AS-IS organizational structure and information mapping.
  • Collaborate with the customer to support the establishment of a Business Process Catalog.
  • Translate strategy documentation into business architecture artifacts.
  • Develop TO-BE business architecture including:
    • Customer journey mapping (if necessary)
    • Value streams
    • Business capabilities
    • Business processes
  • Potentially define TO-BE organizational structure and information mapping.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Business Architect, particularly in digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture (EA) practices.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive AS-IS and TO-BE business architecture.
  • Experience in customer journey mapping, value streams, and business capabilities assessment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and support the establishment of business process catalogs.
  • Knowledge of Capability-Based Planning (CBP) techniques.
  • Nice-to-have qualifications:
    • BABOK or BIZBOK certifications
    • Experience with Business Model Canvas
    • Familiarity with Business Motivation Model (BMM)
