Position Overview:

As a Senior Internal Auditor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing internal audit projects, either as the lead auditor or as part of a collaborative team within the Group Internal Audit Department.
  • Assessing and continuously monitoring the frameworks in place to ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and legal requirements that may significantly influence the organization.
  • Evaluating governance structures and the efficacy of the organization's risk management and internal control systems.
  • Assisting in the annual risk evaluation and strategic planning for the Internal Audit function.
  • Reviewing operations and programs to determine alignment with established objectives and to ensure they are executed as intended.
  • Ensuring that audit processes comply with relevant standards and are documented according to the organization's internal audit methodologies.
  • Participating in the follow-up process for Internal Audit recommendations and coordinating with management on the status of improvement initiatives.
  • Contributing to the reporting and communication efforts of Internal Audit to pertinent stakeholders.
  • Supporting ongoing enhancement initiatives within the internal audit team and engaging in special projects aimed at strengthening team capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, and/or internal control processes within an international context.
  • Familiarity with Euronext markets or the financial sector, as well as operations and/or IT, is advantageous.
  • Exceptional presentation abilities and the capacity to articulate risk in a practical and relatable manner.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative, open-minded, pragmatic, customer-focused, and analytical approach to work.
  • Demonstrated accountability, proactivity, and a high degree of integrity.
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders in a multicultural business environment.
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential.
  • Proficiency in a Scandinavian language (spoken and written) is preferred but not mandatory.
