Job Summary:

As an HR Consultant, you will develop the HR function in Norway and work closely with the company to create a good framework for all employee activities. This includes HR Strategy, recruitment, development, competence, and employee attraction and retention. The role will support day-to-day tasks in operations, administration, and strategy on a company level. You will be part of the executive team and report to the HR Director in Sweden.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and update HR frameworks and templates, HR policies, and strategies.
  • Ensure the proper and efficient functioning of HR business processes.
  • Support Line managers in HR matters, development, termination, rehab, etc. of employees.
  • Drive the talent management process to attract, develop, and retain the right talent.
  • Coordinate payroll and pension administration.
  • Engage in branding and recruitment activities.
  • Onboard and offboard employees.
  • Act as a contact person for union work, recruiters, payroll, and candidates.
  • Develop and administer training plans.
  • Conduct salary reviews.
  • Perform exit interviews.
  • Contribute to planning company events.
  • Report HR-related matters to government, unions, etc.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Support HR service contracts and bring new customers to the company.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a generalist role.
  • Knowledge of union work, collective agreements, and label law.
  • Experience in recruitment.
  • Fluency in written and oral English and Norwegian.
Skills and Personality Traits:
  • Proactive, good communication and cooperation skills.
  • A 'people person' with the ability to create good relations internally and externally.
  • Engaging team player, driven, and result-oriented, with a humble approach.
