Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Expert to join our GBS Risk Reduction Programmes team in Helsinki, Stockholm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Non-Financial risks and Project risks across large and complex programmes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven professional with a proactive attitude and strong drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be working on various Non-Financial risks and Projects risks connected to the Risk Reduction Plans Portfolio, applying your expertise in risk management to support and oversee daily risk management, audit, and issue management activities.

Your Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage Data Privacy Risk Reduction Programme as part of the PMO team
  • Maintain Nordea's risk management framework and practices
  • Develop and execute risk management strategies according to Nordea frameworks
  • Organize, plan, assess, and monitor risk mitigation on Programme
  • Provide oversight and support to workstreams in their risk management activities
  • Prepare business summaries to serve as decision materials for programme(s) and senior management
  • Ensure alignment with 2LoD on topics like risk appetite, risk reporting etc.
  • Offer advice to programme management and workstream leads in individual programmes on risk-related topics
  • Collaborate and support programme(s) and stakeholders on path to complete milestones and business deliverables according to risk appetite within internal and external deadlines
  • Support project management agenda and initiatives within programmes
  • Collaborate with colleagues across programmes and units in Nordea
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to build strong relationships
  • Contribute to overall development of risk management capabilities in the team


Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management (required)
  • Experience in facilitating QRAs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience in Nordea's risk management framework and tools (an advantage, but not required)
  • Superior written and spoken English skills
  • A self-drive and proactive personality
  • A relevant Master's or Bachelor's degree


Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.
