About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Mercell. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT-related operations within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support and Incident Management: Respond to and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests raised by internal users. Investigate and diagnose technical issues related to SaaS applications, network connectivity, hardware, and software integrations.
  2. User Training: Provide training and guidance to end-users on SaaS tools and best practices.
  3. Project Implementations: Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to implement new SaaS solutions. Ensure successful deployment, configuration, and user adoption.
  4. Integration: Integrate our core SaaS tools with other systems (e.g., AWS, Github) to streamline interdepartmental workflows.
  5. System Maintenance and Optimization: Monitor application and hardware performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system workflows where possible.
  6. Security: Implement security best practices, including access controls, data encryption, and vulnerability assessments in collaboration with our internal security team.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for all IT operational configurations, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years operational experience with an international IT organization.
  2. Experience in IT Service Management to ensure smooth sailing for the organization, with a knack for optimizing service delivery to meet business needs.
  3. Skilled in Identity & Access Management, ensuring only individuals gain entry while maintaining the integrity of sensitive information.
  4. Proficient in Device Management and Security.
  5. Skilled at maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure to keep the organization connected and secure through Network Management.
  6. Experienced in Technical Support & Troubleshooting to keep operations run smoothly.
  7. Fluent in English and Norwegian.
  8. Located in or close to Oslo, Norway.
