About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Project Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and collaborate with talented professionals in the field of automation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary engineers to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  2. Technical Interface: Serve as the technical interface with customers, establishing and maintaining professional relationships to drive successful project outcomes.
  3. Supplier Management: Act as the technical liaison to third-party suppliers, ensuring the correct functionality and integration of their deliverables within our systems or solutions.
  4. Project Planning: Ensure all necessary prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place before starting work.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the engineered solution meets project requirements across all disciplines.
  6. Progress Reporting: Report progress, technical issues, and/or changes to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager.
Required Qualifications
  1. An engineering degree, preferably in Automation and Control or Electrical Engineering, although other engineering degrees will be considered.
  2. A passion for the design and development of distributed control systems and/or SCADA systems.
  3. Strong ability to interact directly with customers and manage project design life cycles.
  4. Proficiency in producing technical design and verification specifications.
  5. Skill in application software and hardware designs.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of the Norwegian language is a plus.
  2. Proficient in English.
  3. Strong communication skills.
  4. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
