Senior Business Development Executive

We are seeking a talented Senior Business Development Executive to join our team at TransPerfect. As the global leader in language services and technology, we help international brands and organizations communicate effectively across cultures.
As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strategic relationships with clients and co-workers, while also working closely with senior leadership to expand current relationships and upsell our portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing prospective clients through various strategies such as internet sourcing, trade show lists, referrals, and personal investigation
- Fostering and closing new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means
- Responsible for growing new business from existing clients
- Creatively problem solving to improve current new business development strategy
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, ability to build and maintain relationships, superior written and spoken communication skills in English and Norwegian (CEFR Level 2 / native or bilingual), and good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets, and other necessary calculations.
