Role Overview:
As a Senior Internal Auditor, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Planning and executing internal audit engagements, either as the lead auditor or as part of a collaborative team within the Group Internal Audit Division.
- Assessing and monitoring systems to ensure adherence to established policies, regulations, and laws that could have a significant impact on the organization.
- Evaluating governance frameworks and the efficacy of the organization’s risk management and internal control systems.
- Assisting in the annual risk assessment and audit planning processes.
- Reviewing operations and programs to determine alignment with set objectives and whether they are being executed as intended.
- Ensuring that audit procedures comply with relevant standards and are thoroughly documented in accordance with the organization’s internal audit methodologies.
- Participating in the follow-up process for audit recommendations and coordinating with management on the implementation of improvements.
- Contributing to the reporting and communication efforts of the Internal Audit function to pertinent stakeholders.
- Promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the internal audit team and engaging in special projects aimed at enhancing team capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, or internal control processes within an international context.
- Familiarity with Euronext markets or the financial sector, along with knowledge of operational or IT aspects, is advantageous.
- Exceptional presentation abilities and the capacity to discuss risk in a practical, relatable manner.
- Strong analytical competencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative, open-minded, pragmatic, and customer-focused approach.
- Demonstrated accountability, proactivity, and a high level of integrity.
- Experience in managing relationships with senior stakeholders in a multicultural business environment.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential.
- Proficiency in a Scandinavian language (spoken and written) is preferred but not mandatory.
