Job Purpose

Commercial Execution Department

As a key member of the Commercial Execution Department in Subsea Services Europe, you will be responsible for ensuring that inbound orders for established Service Contracts align with the overall Commercial Execution Strategy. Your expertise in contractual matters will be crucial in leading negotiations on Quotations and Purchase Orders (PO), and proactively supporting Projects / Service Lines on Variation Orders (VO).

You will play a vital role in securing financial results for Subsea Services by maintaining commercial discipline within your area of responsibility, and maximizing revenue and profit within established Service Contracts. Your collaboration with the On-Offshore organization, Finance, Engineering, and Tender Department will be essential in securing commitment to customer contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of all inbound Purchase Orders and Variation Orders.
  • Drive commercial awareness and excellence within your area of responsibility.
  • Secure escalation and renewals of Service Contracts within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all Purchase Orders and Variation Orders align with the overall commercial execution strategy.
  • Be the single point of contact for the negotiation of all Purchase Orders within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that Quotations and Variation Orders are established in accordance with the terms of the Service Contracts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably in the commercial area of the business.
  • Experience with PowerBI is a plus but not required.
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience.
  • Proven negotiation skills, adept at navigating complex discussions.
  • Excellent cooperation and teamwork skills, thriving in a small, lean team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of service-mindedness.
  • A passion for creating and developing new initiatives within our emerging department.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and juggle multiple priorities effectively.
