About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Contract Manager to join our team at DNV. As a key member of our Global Contracting team, you will play a critical role in supporting the success of our business by providing expert contract management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent DNV in reviewing, amending, and negotiating contracts with customers, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Support the contracting process and contract management, providing advice on legal and commercial matters.
  • Assess project risks, engage in risk review processes, and collaborate with the business to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training on legal and contract management issues and risks within the functional scope of the Global Contracting team.
  • Identify potential process improvements and support the implementation of internal improvement projects.
  • Deliver high-quality products that demonstrate a customer-centric approach, providing commercially focused advice and solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience as a legal professional or contract manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian, with additional language skills welcomed.
  • Legal skills in a commercial/transactional context, including reviewing and drafting contracts.
  • Ability to work as part of a virtual, global, and multi-cultural team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex projects.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to professionally manage confidential information.
