SLB Capturi is a leading carbon capture technology company seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Thermal Energy Systems to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on thermal energy systems related to our carbon capture process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to technology strategy and roadmap on thermal energy efficiency improvement, in collaboration with HoT and CTO, that reflects the market needs and corporate strategy
  2. Act as technical authority in the company on matters related to Thermal Energy Systems
  3. Propose and initiate RD&I projects on thermal energy efficiency improvements according to the technology strategy and roadmap
  4. Responsible for contributing with expert advice to ensure correct implementation of ACC's performance and characteristics in studies and execution projects
  5. Identify improvements and assess patentable inventions related to Thermal Energy Systems
  6. Responsible for identifying and implementing learnings from operational data and experiences, and research results
  7. Ensure up-to-date information on energy efficiency of emerging and competing carbon capture technologies
Requirements
  1. MSc or PhD degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  3. Expertise within process technology and thermal energy systems
  4. Knowledge and experience from process simulations
  5. Knowledge of carbon capture, utilisation and storage technologies is considered an advantage
  6. Knowledge from gas and steam turbines is considered an advantage
  7. Project management skills with experience in project execution and industrial implementation
  8. Experience from implementing RD&I results into industrial applications
  9. Good understanding of technology development and qualifications
