At National Oilwell Varco, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Stavanger.

This role offers a great opportunity for professional development within the sales department as you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, gaining valuable experience within sales.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a critical role in the sales department of various NOV produced components and be responsible for overseeing the entire process, from initial quote, negotiation, ordering to final payment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle requests and prepare bids.
  • Process orders.
  • Provide excellent customer support.
  • C coordinate tasks internally between departments.
  • Accommodate customers' needs.
  • Expedite delivery.
  • Manage spare parts lists.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent admin/sales education is preferred, along with relevant work experience in the field.
  • Techincal or mechanical understanding is a plus, as well as the use of ERP systems.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of previous sales experience or in a similar role.

Skills, Training, or Special Knowledge:

  • Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Sales and negotiation skills.
  • Team player, results-driven, integrity, business acumen, and time management.
