Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Revenue Officer to lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that will take our commercial success to the next level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities

Identify client segments to target, including large energy companies, big tech, and other potential clients. Develop and execute a sales strategy to pursue these opportunities and drive revenue growth.

  • Develop and Execute a Sales Strategy

Develop a comprehensive sales strategy that includes identifying partners to collaborate with, pricing strategy, and lead generation. Execute this strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

  • Lead the Sales Team

Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the team is equipped to succeed.

  • Contribute to Company Strategy

Contribute to the development and growth of the company by contributing to the overall company strategy and executing on all business areas Inherit engages in.

Requirements
  • Experience

Previous client-facing role experience is a must. Experience in B2B sales/sales leadership, commercial experience from a carbon removal company, brokerage/trading/investment banking, previous finance/CFO role, management consulting, or commercial experience/BD experience from companies within the energy/ESG space is highly desirable.

  • Skills

Results-driven and driven by results. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a nascent market with no established playbook. Willingness to relocate to the Oslo region (Norway). Hybrid work is accepted but we value time together as a team.
