As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide guidance on the right features at the right time.

Your primary goal will be to develop and adhere to best practices of business analysis, driving deliveries effectively and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Development: Develop solution concepts and business cases for new investments.
  • Requirements Gathering: Translate business needs into IT technical requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Propose improvements to business processes.
  • Solution Selection: Analyze, define, and select preferred solutions together with business on agreed templates.
  • IT Systems Knowledge: Understand the system cluster of IT systems within your responsibility and build knowledge/relationship with appropriate vendors.
  • Contract Establishment: Participate in establishment of new IT contracts.
  • Budgeting: Give input to budget processes regarding future improvements and enhancements.
  • User Engagement: Participate in application user-forums when agreed.
  • Liaison Role: Liaison between Business, IT organization, and the delivery organization ensuring an effective service delivery according to Lean principles (incl. improvement activities and Lessons Learned process).
  • Solution Launch: Oversee the launch of solutions and help maximize the positive impact on the organization.

You will also help the business organization clarify business IT demands and ensure they are efficiently met by the IT delivery organization.

In addition, you will advise on ensuring business demands are aligned with Aker BP's digital strategy.
