About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Surveyor to join our team at DNV. As an Electrical Surveyor, you will be responsible for performing surveys on vessels and platforms, at manufacturers and at shipyards, to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the various phases of surveying and monitor the quality of service on the work performed.
- Prepare technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys.
- Engage with clients to resolve problems within areas of expertise.
- Travel to various locations to conduct surveys and inspections.
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
- Experience in the offshore industry, maritime industry, or shipbuilding is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation, and open-mindedness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian.
