Job Description
As a graduate at Equinor, you’ll be joining 21,000 colleagues delivering oil, gas, wind, and solar power to 170 million people worldwide. By 2050, we aim to become a net-zero company and deliver the energy the world needs without contributing to global warming. It’s one of the defining challenges of our time and attracting and developing the brightest minds will be critical to our success.
The programme lasts for 2-years and includes rotations of 3-12 months across functions, business areas or locations.
The position
Legal is the competence unit for all legal matters related to the Equinor group’s business and corporate activities. You’ll be part of a team of 140 legal experts, specialists, consultants, and qualified support personnel.
We have the overall responsibility for advising on all legal matters and on ethics as well as anti-corruption compliance. Legal also acts as the corporate bodies’ secretariat within the Equinor group.
When joining our team in Legal & Compliance you will have the opportunity to:
Work closely with the business areas through giving legal and compliance advice in relation to Equinor’s various activities, including on projects, commercial transactions, and negotiations. Work in an international environment and collaborate closely with colleagues and counterparties globally. Develop as an energy lawyer within various legal areas, and with broad opportunities for learning and growth.

Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within law.
Completed degree by the year of starting (2024). Fluent in English. No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience. Formal experience is not a requirement. Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.Your personal qualities:
