Telenor Cyberdefence AS is a wholly owned, newly started Nordic cyber security company in the Telenor Group. Telenor Cyberdefence AS' ambition is to become a leading MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider) in the Nordic market, among other things by using Telenor's unique access to threat intelligence to support our services. In addition to delivering modern managed security services, Telenor Cyberdefence AS will also offer specialist expertise through consultancy services and testing of infrastructure/applications with our Offensive Security team.
We are looking for a new colleague in the position of Manager Direct Sales, to join Telenor Cyberdefence HQ in Oslo/Fornebu.
The Manager Direct Sales is a key member of the Telenor Cyberdefence (TCD) Management Team, with overall responsibility for the direct sales channel in TCD. During the start-up phase, you will report directly to the CEO of the company. Your main task will be to build an effective and successful direct sales organization.
You are a dynamic and team-oriented sales and marketing manager with a strong network in the Nordic IT industry, preferably with several years of experience from the cyber security industry. You will work closely with the service portfolio function in TCD to develop a competitive service offering which will meet the demand of our target segments, Nordic medium-sized and large enterprises and organizations. TCD also has an indirect sales channel, primarily through Telenor BUs in the Nordic region, and you will have a close cooperation and mutual support.
As our Manager Direct Sales you will be central in agreeing and subsequently attaining ambitious sales targets. You will lead and further develop a competent and strong sales team with clear growth ambitions. You will also be responsible for optimizing the direct sales processes in TCD.
Key responsibilities:
- Building a strong direct sales function in TCD.
- Developing and implementing an ambitious direct sales strategy.
- Agreeing and subsequently attaining ambitious sales targets.
- Coaching and close follow-up of the performance of individual sales professionals.
- Relationship building with CEOs/CTOs in major customers and prospects.
- Close cooperation with TCD's service portfolio function, defining the service offering and the service roadmap.
- Close cooperation with the consulting and managed security services functions in TCD, including service implementation and service delivery management.
- Close cooperation with TCD's indirect sales channel.

- You exemplify professionalism at all times and are trustworthy, delivering with high ethical standards to customers and partners.
- You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization and with external contacts. You have the ability to create and deliver powerful and effective presentations.
- Fluent in any Scandinavian language and in English.
- Education from university or equivalent, with BSc or MSc in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration or Electrical/IT/telecommunications engineering.
